Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our team. This role requires a blend of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices). The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for clean and artful web design, possess superior user interface design skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, transforming them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven working experience in web programming.
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern Languages.
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming, and web application development.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: WordPress, PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, or Ruby on Rails.
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
